Breast cancer

Beware of this disease
Raise awareness to all
Ever had a mammogram?
Ask questions if you don’t know
Surgery, radiation, Chemo, et al
Therapy and early diagnosis
Can’t stop the monster sometimes
All interventions fall short sometimes
Not all women live to tell their tales
Carefully listen to those who do
Ever tried breast self exam?
Right method is just a click away

This is my first submission at Acrostic Only. In fact my first acrostic ever written.

    Well done. I heard on the news last night that there is a new machine to examine breasts that does a great job of imaging. Cancer is a scourge.

    Oh Shrads, this is good. First time or no, it tells the message AND is acrostic in order to help us remember the message. “Now what was that last ‘R’ for? Oh, yes, … “

    Acrostics are fun. I think so, and challenging. This one may not be fun because it deals with such a serious topic. A major killer of women here.

    I just tonight came home from a funeral of a very nice young lady, age 51. She died of a heart attack, no one was expecting this. We never know when we might subside.
