Vinita

It was bright and beautiful morning. Vinita entered the office building hurridly. ’Why do I get late for crucial meetings’ she thought.

As she moved towards the elevator, she prayed to have not been too late.

Luckily for her, the interviews were running late and her name had not been called out. She looked around at her competition.

Three very beautiful girls stared back at her.

‘Am I the only one who is not size 0 here’ Vinita wondered.

With in no time her name was called.

The office where interviews were conducted was large and spacious.

Three men and two women greeted her.

She knew that behaving in cool fashion was imperative but one of those men was Satish!

She stupidly started at him.

He looked at her unblinkingly with that hint of smirk, she knew he was hiding.

Vinita took the seat and proceeded with the greetings.

She was pretty upset that he was interviewing her and was wondering if she should mention it to others.

As if reading her mind. Satish stood up. He told the board of directors, ‘I know her personally. I am sorry to not have looked through the list of candidates previously. I would like to take leave from this interview session.’

He smiled at Vinita , shook her hands and left.

Vinita was relieved and ashamed at the same time.

She felt the way she had treated him last time they had met was disgraceful.

She felt lucky that her bad karma did not come back to bite in her butt.
