The foundation here is well-laid. The observation about size sets the scene. In a few short sentences we learn of her nervousness, insecurity,and discovery that not all is as it seems as Satish excuses himself from the interview. Nice start. I’m ready for more.

This is a VERY good start to a story. It piques the readers curiosity to know more–very good.
