Prematurity Awareness Month

*As mother of my preemie twins, i like to write about Prematurity Awareness. This poem is written for Carry On Tuesday*

He lay there in arms of an angel
Angel who carried him for 25 weeks
Angel who loved him with all her heart
All he knew was the love of those arms
All he knew was the comfort of that womb

If only we could have prolonged the pregnancy
Perinatologist thought
If only we could have saved the baby
Neonatologist thought

May be they could..
If the right research is done
We all can help
Open your hearts and donate for such research
