Ok since I am feeling supremely confidant, i thought why not give my opinion on ‘Abortions’
I am pro-choice but in situations like rape, incest, and life threatening conditions to a mom.
I also feel that federal funding should cover abortions for teen agers.
I completely disagree with the idea of, well she has layed her bed, now sleep on it.
If the girl wants to stay pregnant and give up the baby for adoption then fine, otherwise there is no harm in first trimester abortion.
I personally have witnessed mothers who did not want a child and always cursed their luck that they could not get out of the situation. I feel of the two sins, neglecting an unwanted child is bigger sin than having an abortion.
I think those girls are very brave who carry on their pregnancy and give up their child for adoption but if that girl did not have that kind of support and she wanted to have a second chance at life (college and other joys of youth), she should be given that chance.
As a society we should encourage better outlets than having sex and promiscuity in the first place.
If a girl does get pregnant as a teen, we as parents, teachers, friends and peers have failed her.
I am talking only about teens here, on the other hand as an adult, it should be our own responsibility and if women want to have such coverage, they better buy a separate policy. I am hoping that as adults they are more responsible and can choose the plan they like.
Note for Fifi and Bibi: Do not have sex as teen.PLEASE!
