This is a very informative post. Talking of AD/HD, I have a nephew who displays positive manifestations that he has it, that out of a 10 symptoms/signs, I can readily tick more than six. I am no psychiatrist like you, but based from my research work as I am also alarmed with his display of behavior, he has it. I advised his parents but the turned a deaf ear, maybe they want to ignore it just like that.

Now teachers’ role comes in. They must be well-educated so that they can help parents who tries to ignore their own child. Teachers stay with kids half of their waking hours, hence they have more exposure to the child’s behavior while in school. Parents stay with them most of their sleeping hours.
